Marylaine Louise L. Viernes, 21, believes that her best quality is making use of whatever she has – even obstacles. In fact, she believes this the reason why at a young age, she has a Palanca award under her belt, graduated with honors and with a full academic scholarship from DLSU, and is the youngest Opinion Columnist in The Manila Times, with her byline, ‘Youthopia,’ that comes out every Friday.  

She has also been part of various TV shows such as Deal or No Deal and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition II, out of mere curiosity of how it is to be in the spotlight. She is also working full-time as Editor-In-Chief of PLAY! Magazine, a quarterly gaming and lifestyle publication, and hosts many events. She aims to be a TV Host soon, and author a 5-part epic adventure that will surpass her idol, J.K Rowling. She has a cat named George and 2 female pit bulls.
